Anuradha was married off as a child bride when she was only 13 years old and became a mother at the age of 14. Anuradha is delighted when girls come and thank her for helping stop their marriages. One of the child, who was protected from child marriage, recently completed her schooling and is pursuing higher studies. Anuradha teaching children at a Remedial Education Centre run by World Vision India in her community. She is now completing her higher education, and desires to pursue a Bachelor degree in Education and become a teacher. Apart from being an active anti-child marriage advocate in her community, she also works at a vernacular news channel as an anchor where she openly speaks up on child rights and the rights of women.
