Many of the Syrians that the WV Iraq team has talked to have shared stories of multiple displacements with a desire to have a restored home where they feel safe and at peace. As of 24 November, 16,827 refugees have entered Iraq looking for a place where they can rest without fear of conflict. In addition to the thousands of families that have come in the last couple of months, over 200,000 Syrian refugees are in Iraq, many of whom have been here for over 4 years.
