Jahana helps her mom pick up school supplies--especially much needed sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer. Summary: Carol Santos-Warner teaches at Midland Elementary in Franklin Pierce. She has nine students with special needs, including cerebral palsy. The family came to World Vision's teacher resource center in Fife, Wash. shopping for school supplies and crafts. But the most important thing: "The sanitizing wipes are gold right now," she says. "The kids I work with are more vulnerable because of the virus and the pandemic." Carol works hard to protect her students. Because of their special needs she says, "It's hard to teach them proper hand washing." And she adds that the supplies are expensive. Carol has been coming to the teacher resource center twice a year for four years now.
</oembed>
