The program supports some of the most vulnerable people in the area during instability.  Laura, the mother, has been volunteering for World Vision as a health manager for 8 years. She shares, &#x201C;I work with children in my community and I do vaccine monitoring and growth control&#x2026; [and] I like to help with my fellow volunteers, I enjoy the workshops and trainings.&#x201D; World Vision has supported Laura&#x2019;s family and now she is able to contribute to her community in return. Children between 0 and 17 have experienced the impact of public policies and development plans. 3,606 people participated in workshops to prevent violence in parenting, 18,031 people were mobilized for actions to protect children and prevent violence, and 6,852 people are committed to promoting the cause of World Vision for the protection of children. Colombians benefited from World Vision&#x2019;s involvement through access to health campaigns, education, child protection, and child participation. World Vision in Santander, Colombia started a program, &#x201C;Dulce Tierra, Nuevo Sol&#x201D;, in Floridablanca which has impacted the community significantly.
