Denise resides in the Suyapa neighborhood, where she lives with her partner, due to a bad relationship with her family that forced her to leave home. In high school Denise studied Business Administration. Upon graduation, Denise found herself in the difficulty of not finding a stable job, and therefore, could not continue with her university studies. While the job opportunity came, this young woman prepared cakes and sold regularly. As time passed, the young woman heard about the Youth Ready Project where she got involved and became interested in the Barista Course to strengthen her small enterprise. She currently works 5 hours a day from Monday to Friday at the national company of Espresso Americano and destines her weekends to elaborate and sell her own cakes as well as studying in University. She receives the support of her current partner and lives in her own home with him, although Denise describes her neighborhood as a vulnerable area that lacks many things. About the methodology, Denise says… "the project has helped me to strive more for what I want. Now I know my abilities as an entrepreneur and as a young worker who is capable of moving forward."
</oembed>
